The company was founded in 1983 and is mainly active in Germany. In 1999 a PLC was founded to take responsibility for the conservation and restoration divisions of the business. The divisions for the research of buildings, expertise, and Developing of concepts were not included into the PLC.

All employees are exceptionally trained and are, through many years of practical experience, highly qualified in their fields. Participants of the practical training get special attention so that they are prepared to begin their university studies within 3 years.

Since 1983 more than 100 major restoration projects have been planned and carried out, many of them attracting international attention.
